POINTS is a newly-introduced rewards program tailored for customers of NBB, aimed at recognizing their preferences and lifestyles as a means of rewarding them for their card expenditures and other engagements. The program enables participants to redeem accumulated points through a variety of redemption alternatives.

NBB clients can seamlessly access POINTS by utilizing their existing NBB Digital Banking credentials. The platform offers points in return for diverse financial and non-financial activities, in addition to extending rewards for special milestones. Moreover, individuals can pool their earned points within a common household account, thereby fostering a more accelerated earning and redemption process for all household members involved.

POINTS provides rewards through two distinct types of points:

1. Base points: Earned through spending on credit and prepaid cards
2. Bonus points: Accumulated from all other eligible activities

To earn points on the POINTS application, participants can engage in the following actions:

1. Utilize NBB credit and prepaid cards for transactions
2. Acquire a new credit card from NBB
3. Tailor their profile information to receive rewards upon subsequent logins
4. Participate in surveys provided by the program
5. Engage in special occasion-related promotions

The redemption options for points include:

1. Base Points:
   • Cashback Rewards: Exchange 100 Base Points for BHD 1 (equivalent to 1% of the points' value)
2. Bonus OR Base Points:
   • Participation in raffles for opportunities to win valuable items
   • Donation of accumulated points to charity initiatives

In addition to these benefits, members gain access to exclusive offers and promotions tailored specifically for them. All raffles within the program are closely monitored, with draws overseen by a representative from the Bahraini Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism. Participants can utilize their Base or Bonus points to purchase unlimited raffle tickets at the specified point value per ticket.

Following each draw, winners will be promptly notified via email, SMS, and an in-app notification. It is important to note that all raffles are solely sponsored and managed by the National Bank of Bahrain.
